I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for OxiClean. I received three product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

When it comes to housekeeping there are two tasks that are literally never complete – laundry and dishes.  Even when I breathe a sigh of relief from tossing the last load of clothes in the washing machine it’s just a false sense of accomplishment because at that exact moment my girls are most likely spilling something down the front of the outfit they are currently wearing.  When I pull the last cup out of the dishwasher and place it in the cabinet someone will be thirsty or hungry.  And then the process repeats and repeats and repeats.  Since laundry and dishes are truly never ending tasks I’d rather them be easy tasks that only take doing once to get the job done.  I hate opening the dishwasher door to discover food still stuck on dishes, glasses with cloudy spots, or a cloudy film on everything just meaning I need to rewash everything.  Even more so I hate folding freshly washed clothes and discovering stains that just add to my laundry pile.  But all of that repetitiveness can be avoided by using something that works the first time like these awesome new OxiClean products.

As a mom of three little ones I need to save time where ever and however possible.  I obviously do not have time to spend rewashing dishes, but I also don’t have time to prewash dishes.  After all that is what a dishwasher is supposed to do!  But it can’t do it’s job correctly without a detergent that actually works.  Our current dishwasher detergent had been getting our dishes relatively clean, but there will still things that just bothered me – like tomato stains on our plastic food containers.  I was more than ready to put the new OxiClean 4X Extreme Power Crystals Dishwasher Detergent to the test.

Since the power crystals are highly concentrated 20 loads of dishes are packed in to one small bottle which I absolutely love because we are totally lacking in cabinet space so I am all about small packaging as long as it works.  I filled the main dispenser cup halfway and when the dishwasher clicked off I was pleasantly surprised with the results.  No stuck on food!  No spots on glasses!  No cloudy film!  And what impressed me most?  The tomato stains literally vanished from our plastic food containers.  I have definitely found a new go-to dishwasher detergent.

Now that I have the dishes under control the next step was laundry and dealing with those pesky stains that were seeming to sneak through the wash more and more often.  I always knew that the original OxiClean worked great when added to our regular detergent, but shouldn’t laundry detergent just work by itself without adding something to it?  What if the OxiClean was already in the detergent?  Not that would just be genius.  And then it happened – OxiClean Laundry Detergent.

This new laundry detergent is powered by three color-safe OxiClean stain-fighters in a thick, rich formula that penetrates fabrics for a deep clean that will remove even tough, dried-on stains.  Yup, it even removes those stains on your toddlers clothes that you have absolutely no idea where they came from.  Grass, blood, soil, fruit, wine, coffee, chocolate, ketchup, spaghetti sauce, barbecue sauce?  OxiClean Laundry Detergent has it under control.  Dustin especially likes the fresh scent, but I love that it is also available in a dye free option which is perfect for my super sensitive girls.

Oh and I can’t forget about the OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover.  If you’ve been using some other detergent chances are your whites and even your colored clothes and towels might have a dingy appearance.  The Wow White Technology is formulated to work with your detergent to whiten clothes without chlorine which means no harsh smells or damaging effects to worry about.  Plus it’s safe on colors too!

With these new OxiClean products in my cleaning arsenal I am more than ready to tackle Spring cleaning.  Every single piece of fabric that can be washed in my house is headed to the washing machine.  Curtains, rugs, bedding, even shoes… it’s all getting the OxiClean treatment!

The Zune conrentcates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Grade A stuff. I’m unquestionably in your debt.

  12. Good call BCO – I love to LOSE the socks all together in the summer months. (And a variety of sneaker shades is important as well.) And as for dark socks and shorts, I say if a guy can make it work, rock it out.Regarding long pants and sneakers, however, I still find myself in a quandary.
