Never Wordless Wednesday: Baby Harper #4

I realize I haven’t blogged a lot about my fourth pregnancy.  I got off to a little bit of a rocky start with some rather severe depression issues and once I got those all worked out I just tried to enjoy the pregnancy as much as possible.  Unfortunately, the doctors office I chose because they were supposedly VBAC friendly was doing nothing but stressing me out after I refused to take the glucose test.  I was monitoring my sugar levels using a meter, but I simply didn’t want to ingest the glucose drink.  After getting too many bad vibes from them that made me feel like they were going to pull a bait and switch on my VBAC wishes I went in search of a new doctor.  I am so thankful that at 35 weeks I was accepted into a new practice.  My stress levels are down.  My blood sugar levels are great.  And just yesterday at 36+3 weeks I had an ultrasound to see how Baby Harper #4 is growing.  She looks perfect and is measuring within one day of my due date with an estimated weight of 6 pounds 3 ounces.  And what made me the happiest is that she is head down and facing the correct direction so my hopes for a vaginal birth are looking better and better with each passing day.

How adorable is this profile?

And to my surprise I got to see her precious little face in 3d!

My doctor is fine with me going into labor any time after 37 weeks and will let me wait for labor to occur naturally until 41 weeks.  This means this sweet baby girl could be here anywhere from a few days to a few weeks from now.  I’m in no rush, but am very excited to hold her in my arms.  As are her big sisters, daddy, and the rest of the family.

Evelyn, hi, and thanks – it looks lovely on your site. I think it looks lovely everywhere! So easy to read and pleasant to look at.I did find customising tricky which is why I enlisted Tara’s help… good luck either doing it yourself or getting some help at your place… or leaving it just as it is
