Last week while her big sisters were at Vacation Bible School in the evening I spent some quality time hanging out with my little Lilah Rose. One of those evenings we used that time to wander around Target checking out the dollar spot as well as peeking at all of the clearance end caps. We also swung by the baby food aisle to stock up on some Gerber snacks for Lilah. All four of my girls have been big fans of Gerber Lil’ Crunchies, but while selecting a few flavors a new product caught my eye on the shelf above. Gerber Lil’ Beanies.
There were two different flavors – Original and White Cheddar & Broccoli. At only $1.87 each I figured why not just get both and let Lilah decide which flavor she liked best. As you can see she was totally fine with that idea.
The next day we put the Gerber Lil’ Beanies to the Lilah taste test and I must say they passed with flying colors. This lil munchkin was chowing down, feeding herself, and best of all she wasn’t getting messy!
Poor Rex was hanging around just hoping she would drop one or two so he could have a taste, but when this lil girl likes something she doesn’t like to share with her pup. He sure was giving her the sad eyes though, hehe.
Gerber Lil’ Beanies definitely passed the Lilah taste test, but are they Mama Harper approved as well? The answer is a resounding YES! This yummy snack is made from the goodness of navy beans. In fact it is the first bean-based snack in the baby food aisle. It contains 2 grams of protein, 1 gram of fiber, and 10% daily value of vitamin E per serving. It is baked and contains no genetically engineered ingredients. Plus they are naturally flavored.
Lilah loves them for the delicious flavor. I love them because I know she is getting a nutritious snack. Pick up a canister or two the next time you’re at Target. I bet your little munchkin will like them just as much!
