Christmas will be here before we know it and I admit that I have been starting to panic a bit.  I have literally only purchased 3 gifts so far and don’t have a clue what my two oldest daughters are hoping Santa brings.  Even though I really want to decorate the house I am secretly cringing a bit inside because this year there is a two year old roaming the house – not to mention the cat.  But there is one thing that I have officially checked off my holiday to-do list thanks to Portrait Innovations.  Just last week I took my four girls to the Portrait Innovations Massillon, Ohio location and had an amazing experience during our photography session.

Taking photos of four girls ranging in age from two to eight years old is no easy task, but the photographers at Portrait Innovations were up to the challenge.  At every studio they have been trained in the newest posing and shooting techniques and work with newborns, children, families, graduates, religious milestones and large groups.  They were able to get smiles out of my girls and even when the youngest were beginning to melt down they pulled out all sorts of tricks like blowing bubbles which was a big hit with Lilah and Willow.

Portrait Innovations specializes in giving customers a customized portrait studio experience with creative options.  They encourage customers to bring outfit changes and to let them know what you are hoping to achieve during the session.  For our session my goal was Christmas photos of the girls, a neutral background group photo of the girls, a family portrait, Willow’s 4th birthday, and Lilah’s 2nd birthday photos.  The photographer assured me she could capture all of those things during our session and I am pleased to say that she definitely did.

We began in the holiday themed room where group photos were taken of the girls in their Christmas pajamas.  For these outfits I was looking for a more candid shot than a posed portrait and so they pulled a Christmas book from the huge selection of props and had the girls lay on their bellies to check it out.

In this room the photographer also took some Santa themed photos of the girls.  I think it is so awesome how they are able to capture this photo.

Before moving to the next room for the more neutral background and birthday photos we let the girls take a little break.  They enjoyed playing at the Lego table while another session finished up.

I was amazed at how many different background and prop options were available.  Not to mention the photographers ability to capture Lilah’s photos when the child would barely sit still for two seconds, hehe.

After we were completely finished with our session the girls went back to playing at the Lego table while I sat down with our photographer at a huge monitor to view our photos.  We began by going through all of the photos she had taken during our session and I chose my favorites.  We then continued to eliminate photos until I had reached the package size I wanted to purchase.  I ended up with enough photos of the girls to make awesome gifts for their grandparents, aunts, and uncles as well as holiday photo cards to send out to all of our friends and family.

Right now through Sunday, December 11th Portrait Innovations has an amazing special.  Get 42 professional portraits for only $19.99 which includes 1-10×13 Wall Portrait, 2-8x10s, 4-5x7s, 43x5s, 16-2x3s, plus, 5-5×7 Greeting Cards and 10 Gift Tags.  Plus a free gift of either an 11 oz mug or holiday ornament which is a $25 value.  Another great thing about Portrait Innovations is there are never any sitting fees so bring the whole family!  Plus portraits and cards are printed in the studio within minutes so you will take your photos home with you the same day.

I can imagine how difficult it might be with taking pictures with 4 little ones. The pics turned out great! I love the coordinating outfits.
