At all times we have a rather large selection of cereal in our pantry cupboard. Every member of the Harper family loves cereal for breakfast, snacks, and sometimes even dinner. A few of my daughters favorite cereal is Post Cocoa Pebbles, so when I saw the new Post Cinnamon Pebbles I knew we were going to have to give it a try.
I was curious if this new cereal would stay true to our old favorites – Cocoa Pebbles & Fruity Pebbles. As I opened the box that sweet cinnamon smell hit my nose and I couldn’t wait to give it a taste! I was also pleasantly surprised to see that Cinnamon Pebbles had the same shape and texture as our old favorites as well.
The other day I ordered a Cinnamon Twist from Taco Bell and was rather bummed to find any cinnamon on them. When I put my first scoop of Cinnamon Pebbles in my mouth the first thing that popped into my mind was that they tasted like the most epic order of Cinnamon Twists ever. I could eat this cereal by the handfuls dry!
As I mentioned earlier we all love cereal and so I am always finding ways to incorporate cereal into recipes. Of course, dessert recipes are always the best. I am sure everyone is familiar with and probably loves Rice Krispies Treats, but I thought a Cinnamon Pebbles Treats would be even more amazing. Spoiler alert… they are awesome.

Immediately after school today my six year old had soccer practice and so while she was practicing my oldest did her homework and munched on some Cinnamon Pebbles Treats that I surprised her with. She loved them and I have a feeling these will be the only cereal “Treats” I will be getting asked to make for quite some time.
