Love Cereal? Love Cinnamon? Try NEW Post Cinnamon Pebbles!

At all times we have a rather large selection of cereal in our pantry cupboard.  Every member of the Harper family loves cereal for breakfast, snacks, and sometimes even dinner.  A few of my daughters favorite cereal is Post Cocoa Pebbles, so when I saw the new Post Cinnamon Pebbles I knew we were going to have to give it a try. I was curious if this new cereal would stay true to our old favorites – Cocoa Pebbles & Fruity Pebbles.  As I opened the box that sweet cinnamon smell hit my nose and I couldn’t wait to give … …..

Hop Into Portrait Innovations for Amazing Spring Specials

Back in February the big girls had “spring” pictures taken at school.  I do love when my girls bring home their fall school pictures which are a more traditional face shot with the school year in the bottom corner.  I always purchase these to document how they grow each year regardless of the goofy smile or messed up hair, hehe.  But these spring pictures didn’t impress me especially with the outrageous price tag attached to them.  And so I sent them back because I knew I could take all of my girls to Portrait Innovations where I knew I would … …..

Beat Cabin Fever with a Trip to Castaway Bay {Sandusky, Ohio} Plus Giveaway

Today is the first day of spring and the weather forecast is looking promising for warmer temperatures.  I hate to wish spring away, but I just can’t wait for summer to get here to spend our days playing by the pool.  Luckily in Ohio we have some amazing indoor water parks available and two weeks ago we visited one of our favorites – Castaway Bay – in Sandusky, Ohio. That weekend getaway helped my girls to beat some of their winter boredom blues and also sparked their excitement for summer to get here quickly too. When entering the Castaway Bay … …..

Get Your Wardrobe Ready for Spring with prAna

A few months ago I wrote a blog post about an amazing clothing company – prAna.  When I wrote that post it was the first time I had ever heard about this company and I absolutely fell in love with the pieces I had received.  I had mentioned that I didn’t think the jeans I received would spend much time in my dresser drawer because I would want to constantly be wearing them and that was definitely the truth.  I know I wear my Kara Jeans at least twice a week and they still look brand spanking new.  And so … …..

There’s Still Time for Monster Sized Family Fun at Monster Jam® Triple Threat Series™ {Cleveland, Ohio – February 19th 2017}

Today was the day!  Monster Jam rolled into Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio and my girls were ready to see the Monster Jam® Triple Threat Series™ live.  Typically we make our Monster Jam outings a family event, but Lilah wasn’t too fond of how loud the trucks were last year so she and Willow decided to have a fun day with their nan and pap.  After dropping them off Dustin, Alleigh, Kaelyn, and I headed to Cleveland for an afternoon of monster sized action. Before the 1pm performance we had the opportunity to attend a Monster Jam® Pit Party … …..

How We Deal When Sick Gets Real

Last night I went to bed a little earlier than normal because I was just feeling a bit off.  When I woke up this morning I realized why when I tried to swallow and found I had a sore throat and my head felt all stuffy.  I crossed my fingers that no one else had this crud, but when I walked out into the living room I saw that sick got real in my house.  My poor little Willow Bean was curled up on the couch looking rather miserable while coughing and as she said “dripping snot boogies.”  A few … …..

Pokémon Pikachu Valentine’s Day Box Tutorial & Printable Cards

One of my favorite things about elementary school was the holiday parties.  I especially loved making a Valentine’s Day card box each year with my mom or dad.  One year we made a box to look like a boom box and it actually played music.  Now that I have my own kids in elementary school when Valentine’s Day rolls around I always ask what they want their box to be and we execute it to the best of our ability.  This year Kaelyn asked for a Pikachu Valentine’s Day card box and she also wanted Pikachu Valentine’s Day cards to … …..

How We’re Supporting Pizza Hut: The Literacy Project

The winter months in Ohio are certainly unpredictable.  We’ve had days that were so bitter cold I didn’t want to even crawl out of bed and then there were days that temperatures reached nearly 60°F.  We have definitely taken advantage of every warm day with trips to the zoo and park.  And on the days that we can’t get out due to the crazy weather my girls love to take an adventure by diving into a book.  Willow tends to travel to times when dinosaurs roamed the earth while Lilah will curl up on the couch with a kitty book.  … …..

Keep Your Medicine Cabinet Stocked for When Sick Gets Real

This post has been sponsored by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. All thoughts and reviews are my own. During the winter months it seems at least one of my kids is always sick.  After all there are four of them and though they might not like to share their toys or electronics they are more than willing to share their germs with each other.  One of the biggest perks of winter break is that the oldest two aren’t constantly bringing home germs from school to share with the rest of the family.  Those few weeks we seem to get a break from … …..
