Pokémon Pikachu Valentine’s Day Box Tutorial & Printable Cards

Pokemon Pikachu Valentine's Day Card Box

One of my favorite things about elementary school was the holiday parties.  I especially loved making a Valentine’s Day card box each year with my mom or dad.  One year we made a box to look like a boom box and it actually played music.  Now that I have my own kids in elementary school when Valentine’s Day rolls around I always ask what they want their box to be and we execute it to the best of our ability.  This year Kaelyn asked for a Pikachu Valentine’s Day card box and she also wanted Pikachu Valentine’s Day cards to … …..

How We’re Supporting Pizza Hut: The Literacy Project

Fruit Shoot at Pizza Hut

The winter months in Ohio are certainly unpredictable.  We’ve had days that were so bitter cold I didn’t want to even crawl out of bed and then there were days that temperatures reached nearly 60°F.  We have definitely taken advantage of every warm day with trips to the zoo and park.  And on the days that we can’t get out due to the crazy weather my girls love to take an adventure by diving into a book.  Willow tends to travel to times when dinosaurs roamed the earth while Lilah will curl up on the couch with a kitty book.  … …..

Keep Your Medicine Cabinet Stocked for When Sick Gets Real

Children's Advil

This post has been sponsored by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. All thoughts and reviews are my own. During the winter months it seems at least one of my kids is always sick.  After all there are four of them and though they might not like to share their toys or electronics they are more than willing to share their germs with each other.  One of the biggest perks of winter break is that the oldest two aren’t constantly bringing home germs from school to share with the rest of the family.  Those few weeks we seem to get a break from … …..

This past Sunday we took the girls to Disney On Ice presents Follow Your Heart at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.  We have taken our girls to many Disney On Ice events and they never disappoint, but this year was especially magical because all four girls were at an age that they truly enjoyed every minute of the performance. These three were absolutely zoned out absorbing every minute while Willow was singing and dancing in the aisle. Check out this brief description of what we experienced at the show… Follow your heart straight to adventure at Disney On Ice! … …..

Start Your Morning with belVita Breakfast Biscuits

belvita-with-fruit-and-milk

I don’t know about you, but I tend to have a tough time getting going in the morning.  The problem is my mornings don’t wait for me to wake up and get enough energy to take on the day.  I have two kids to get ready for school.  Four to five days a week my nephew is dropped off at about 8:30am so that I can babysit him while his parents are at work.  Not to mention my two little ones who are always getting into some sort of mischief.  Most recently I discovered nearly every surface of my bathroom … …..

Disney On Ice presents Follow Your Heart is Skating into Cleveland, Ohio January 6th-15th 2017

When it comes to Disney movies all four of my girls are huge fans.  I keep toying with the idea of planning a Disney World vacation, but I’m not sure it’s quite the best idea yet.  My two youngest daughters love the characters from afar, but if anyone in costume gets too close to them ear deafening shrieks escape their adorable little mouths.  And those aren’t shrieks of delight.  Nope, they are pure terror.  Since they do love the characters within a nice distance from themselves the next best option for us is Disney On Ice.  The girls are very … …..

Make it a Green Christmas with Green Toys

green-toys-lilah-playing-with-farm

Christmas is less than a week away.  I was fairly certain I had all of my shopping done until I heard my four year old say “I really hope Santa brings me new running shoes like I asked for.”  And so I will be heading back out into the madness to pick her up a cute pair of sneakers because mama forgot that was indeed one of the few things she had specifically requested.  If you are in need of some last minute gift ideas for little ones I simply can not say enough good things about Green Toys.  Over … …..

Oak Furnitureland – 100% Solid Hardwood Furniture at Low Prices

oak-furnitureland-baku-light-mango-dining-set

Growing up my mom made it a point that we would eat dinner together every night as a family.  It was the perfect opportunity to share how our day had went and to simply enjoy each others company.  When Dustin and I purchased our first home we settled on a small bungalow and when I say small I truly mean it.  After Alleigh was born we basically outgrew it, but because of the real estate market are still living here after four children.  A few months ago we decided that our youngest was old enough to move upstairs with her … …..

Finger Foods & Cake Pops Perfect for Holiday Entertaining

This #MerryMeals shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. I might not like the weather that comes with the winter months in Ohio.  In fact I just told Dustin that I must be allergic to the cold.  I’ll do anything I can to avoid going out especially when it’s snowing.  But I do love the holidays that accompany these freezing months.  Thanksgiving just flew by, but Christmas is less than a month away and then immediately following that we get to ring in the new year.  My favorite thing about the holidays … …..
