Stylish & Safe with Babiators Sunglasses {Giveaway}

We’ve been a family of 6 for just about 4 weeks now, and summer break is in full swing.  While my husband has been off work with me to adjust to our new family and sweet baby Julian, we’ve had so much fun spending quality time with our boys.  Since the weather has been pretty much beautiful, we’ve spent a ton of time enjoying the outdoors.  Our boys play outside every day they possibly can, and we’ve been burning through the sunscreen like no tomorrow.  Since children receive three times as much sun exposure than adults do every year, we … …..

Spring Has Sprung at Crazy 8

One of the best things about winter coming to an end is packing up all of the cold weather clothing and swapping it out with a fresh spring wardrobe.  With a house full of little fashionistas I have to be sure all of my girls are styling.  That’s why I absolutely love Crazy 8.  Their clothing ranges in size from 6 months to 14 years old which means I can coordinate from youngest to oldest.  Plus the styles are fun, fashion-forward, and {very important to me} age appropriate.  I completely fell in love with the new girls spring line – … …..

Tame Your Mane with Logo Loops

As a mom of four girls I have lots of hair to tame each day.  By the time I get all of their hair done I barely want to look at my own, hehe.  Luckily my oldest daughter is beginning to be able to brush and style her hair on her own.  Since her hair is shoulder length she typically prefers to brush it and leave it down, but then her hair is constantly hanging in her face and getting into her eyes.  The easiest solution is to hold it back with a headband, but Alleigh doesn’t like the plastic … …..

Pamper Your Feet with Oh. So. Soft. Socks by Gold Toe

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Gold Toe. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. I’m going to begin this post with a confession.  I don’t like my feet.  Well, more specifically, I don’t like my toe nails.  I’ve had some health related issues with them and let’s just say I could never be a sandals model.  For this reason I wear closed toe shoes 99.9% of the time which means I wear socks just as much.  Since I wear them … …..

Jord Wood Watches – Timepieces Inspired by Nature

As a nurse, wearing a watch at work is a must for me. They have to be functional and hold up to lots of wear and tear, and in the process, don’t always end up really pretty. Sometimes when I go out on a date night or to church, I want to go a more fashionable route and wear a watch as an accessory to my outfit, but the watches I wear to work just don’t cut it. So when I saw Jord wood watches, I fell in love right away with their style- each one is a high quality … …..

A Perfect Preschool Backpack – The Sidekick

School supply shopping has always been one of my favorite things to do.  This year, the nerdy girl deep inside me was almost as excited about taking my oldest son school supply shopping as I was about him going to preschool for the first time (yep, insert tears here!).  When he brought home his school list, the first item was a backpack large enough for 8.5” x 11” papers.  As he has gotten older, we’ve used toddler backpacks for him instead of diaper bags, but none of them were big enough to fit a full sheet of paper.  After searching … …..

Real Kids. Real Shades. Real Kids Shades. Review & Giveaway

Spring has finally sprung and summer will be here before we know it.  With the sun shining and spending time outside the sunscreen-freak in me has arrived.  My girls know that we will not be going outside unless they are lathered in sunscreen and that there will be frequent reapplications if we are outside for any length of time.  I’m overly cautious about their skin being exposed to the sun’s rays (which is a good thing), but what about their eyes? Alleigh and Kaelyn both like to wear sunglasses because their eyes are sensitive to bright sunlight.  They have had … …..

I remember being a tiny little first grader and finding out I needed glasses.  My parents took me to a store where the walls were full of glasses and after receiving my first pair I couldn’t believe the difference in my eye sight.  It was literally like a whole new world when I put those little round frames on my face and is a fond memory that sticks with me to this day.  What’s not so fond is how many pairs of glasses I have gone through over the past 22 years and how much money has been spent.  I … …..
