Over the past several months I have noticed more and more pictures of brightly colored leggings, skirts, dresses, and tops filling my social media feeds.  At first I simply scrolled past them because clothes just weren’t my thing.  I was also at a rough place in my life having been recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic and so I began making drastic lifestyle changes.  As my health began improving and my body started feeling better I was also losing quite a bit of weight.  These changes led me to be a little more interested in clothing.  Since I am all about comfort … …..

Spring Has Sprung at Crazy 8

Crazy 8 fence

One of the best things about winter coming to an end is packing up all of the cold weather clothing and swapping it out with a fresh spring wardrobe.  With a house full of little fashionistas I have to be sure all of my girls are styling.  That’s why I absolutely love Crazy 8.  Their clothing ranges in size from 6 months to 14 years old which means I can coordinate from youngest to oldest.  Plus the styles are fun, fashion-forward, and {very important to me} age appropriate.  I completely fell in love with the new girls spring line – … …..

Shop Justice for Perfect Tween Holiday Gifts

Justice

Every time I turn around it seems like Alleigh has grown an inch taller and is in need of new clothes.  Last week I surprised her with a shopping trip to Justice and gave her complete control of her new looks.  She was pretty stoked to know that if she didn’t like something, regardless of how much I loved it, it would go back on the rack.  The only problem was once we walked through the doors at Justice she pretty much loved everything and was tasked with the super hard job of deciding what she loved the most. Alleigh … …..

Tame Your Mane with Logo Loops

LogoLoops Peace

As a mom of four girls I have lots of hair to tame each day.  By the time I get all of their hair done I barely want to look at my own, hehe.  Luckily my oldest daughter is beginning to be able to brush and style her hair on her own.  Since her hair is shoulder length she typically prefers to brush it and leave it down, but then her hair is constantly hanging in her face and getting into her eyes.  The easiest solution is to hold it back with a headband, but Alleigh doesn’t like the plastic … …..

Spring Into Carter’s with a 20% Off Coupon

Carters3.jpg

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Carter’s. I received a complimentary gift card to facilitate my review and thank me for my participation. A few days ago my four year old, Kaelyn, looked out the living room window and asked “If the calendar says it’s spring why is it snowing outside??”  I couldn’t help but chuckle and told her that the weather in Ohio doesn’t quite coincide with the seasons on the calendar, hehe.  All of my girls are thrilled that there is now more daylight to spend outdoors playing, but they really wish … …..

Decked Out in OshKosh B’gosh for the Holidays

OshKoshBgosh1.jpg

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for OshKosh B’gosh. I received an OshKosh B’gosh gift card to purchase product and to thank me for my participation. The holidays are upon us.  Thanksgiving is only days away and Christmas Eve is exactly a month away – yup, I’m stressing just a bit, hehe!  We’ve begun preparing for the holidays by beginning to decorate the house and having the girls photos taken with Santa.  Of course when it comes to photos of my girls I want them all to coordinate with each other.  I also want outfits … …..

Funding Creative Education through Apparel with Schoola

OldNavy_thumb.jpg

Throughout high school I was pretty active in extracurricular activities, especially things that pertained to the different arts. I (somewhat embarrassingly) was in a girls show choir, musicals, art, Spanish, volleyball, and everything in between. When I look back on high school, it’s these activities that made my school experience more than just a great experience, but a really fun one with some very special memories. And now that Aiden is going to be starting kindergarten next year in that very same school, I can only hope that his time there will be just as much fun with plenty of … …..

Carter’s New Fall Styles are Mama Harper Approved {$50 Gift Card Giveaway}

CartersFall_thumb.jpg

I participated in this program on behalf of Carter’s and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own. It’s hard to believe that back to school is less than a month away.  My oldest will be entering first grade and my four year old will be in pre-kindergarten.  By far my favorite part of preparing for back to school is shopping for new fall clothes and one of my favorite stores is most definitely Carter’s.  I can always count on Carter’s to have on trend outfits that are age appropriate and reasonably priced.  And I must say this year I was … …..

Eye Power Kid’s Wear – Where Glasses Are Totally Cool!

GlassesWand_thumb.jpg

Last summer I started to notice that when Reese was looking at me his eyes looked a little funny. I couldn’t really pinpoint it, but something seemed just slightly off. Then one day when he was sick with a stomach virus and really tired, I snapped a picture to send to my husband, and I saw that his left eye was really turned inward and not focused on the camera. About a week later we visited an Ophthalmologist, just as a precaution since there was a lazy eye trait in my husband’s family. He walked in, simply covered the eye … …..
