Laundry. I admit that it is my least favorite chore because it never seems to be done. It’s a never ending cycle that I just never can quite catch up on. Especially with four little ones in the house and a husband that comes home from work covered in dirt. There is some laundry that didn’t seem to bother me nearly as much. Those teeny tiny newborn outfits fresh out of the wash filling my nose with the delicious baby scent. There’s just something about tiny outfits and that distinct scent that makes the task of laundry a tad more … …..
I received this product from Smiley360 in exchange for my honest review. You can join Smiley360 here! There are some chores that everyone seems to have to do and laundry is on that list. I don’t know how many loads of laundry that I do…quite honestly I don’t want to count. There are times I feel like I live in my laundry room. I am always looking for a detergent that will make the task of laundry quicker and one that leaves my clothes super clean. I have tried numerous brands and even resorted to trying a couple homemade versions … …..
I decided to make the switch to cloth diapers when Sugar was roughly four months old and before doing so I read up on everything I could so I would know how to properly care for her fluff. I remember realizing the only thing about switching to cloth that would drive the hubby crazy was that we could no longer use traditional dryer sheets and kinda dreaded telling him so because he goes crazy over static when taking clothes out of the dryer and folding them. I had tried a few different things to eliminate the static from the clothes … …..

Did you know that using dryer sheets will leave a waxy residue on your diapers which will cause them to repel? Even so I heard many complaints – but what about all the static? – but I like the fresh scent from the dryer sheets? And so I set out to find a cloth diaper friendly alternative to dryer sheets and that is when I learned about dryer balls! Today I want to tell you … …..
I love my clothesline. Really love my clothesline. My husband did an amazing job building it. But what was I supposed to do with all those clothespins? I have about 200 of them and I didn’t want to leave them on the line out in the weather to get ruined. And I didn’t want to throw them in a box or plastic container. I wanted something that would make hanging diapers (or clothes) faster and easier. I remembered my mom having some sort of bag thing when I was growing up to store her clothespins in and so I went … …..
I have mentioned a few times about how super sensitive my girls skin is in some previous blog posts. It seems like the slightest thing will give them a rash or dry their skin out. For this reason we have always used Dreft or Tide Free & Clear for all of our laundry needs. I realized that when we made the switch to cloth diapers that I would need to use something different – I didn’t want to be stripping my diapers all the time. And that is when I found Rockin’ Green Soap. I am proud to say that … …..
