Imaginative “Me Time” with New MiO Playsets

HammockSet

Spring is finally showing up here in Indiana and the weather has been awesome for a couple days now.  My boys have had a blast playing outside after being cooped up all winter, so slowly and surely, the toys have all started to trickle outside as well. One of their favorite toys to play with not only inside, but now outside as well, has been the MiO Eating + 2 People  set I reviewed a few months ago from the Manhattan Toy Company.  Made as multiple modular sets, each one is made from wood, gender neutral, and really awesome for … …..

Imaginative Play Rules This Christmas with MiO Play Sets {Review and Giveaway}

housesetup

Every year it seems like we need to do a big toy sweep in the weeks leading up to Christmas to make room for the new toys that will brought home after holidays with the family.  While there is a place and time for the exciting new electronic toys and building sets with billions of tiny pieces, there’s a special spot in my heart for the simple, imaginative toys that have very few parts and can last for years. This holiday season, Manhattan Toy (whom we LOVE!) has created a special line of open-ended play toys for parents just like … …..

Backyard Fun with the Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouse

Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouse Windows

My favorite time of year is right around the corner.  Autumn is absolutely gorgeous in Ohio with the vibrant leaves and cool breezes.  It is definitely perfect weather to spend time outside.  Willow loves playing in our backyard while her big sisters are at school.  I love that our backyard is fenced in so that I can tend to Lilah without worrying Willow will escape to the front yard.  We recently had the opportunity to try out one of Little Tikes newest playhouses which Willow was super excited about adding to the backyard toys. The first thing I did when … …..

Every day we get a little more excited that the summer sun is getting closer and closer (literally… we celebrate a few degree increase daily!). Dress Up with a Lil’ Pink Goose Boutique Tutu Review & Giveaway

IMG_1452_thumb.jpg

I love that Alleigh and Kaelyn share a birthday, but what’s even better is that they love it as well.  The first year we celebrated their shared birthday I decided that every year I wanted it to be a big deal from the decorations to the food and everything in between so it would be something they would always enjoy and look forward to.  I even wanted them to have matching birthday outfits.  And so when my big girls told me that they wanted to have a princess themed party to celebrate turning 3 and 5 I knew that their … …..

Get Ready for Halloween 2012 with Wholesale Costume Club!

IMG_4932_thumb.jpg

Halloween is creeping up on us mighty fast… do you have your kiddos or even your own costumes ready to go?  I’ve said it many times, but I’ll say it again – I really really really don’t like shopping at actual brick and mortar stores.  When you have three little ones to bring along with you a melt down is sure to happen and it might not be from one of the kids.  Don’t judge, I’m just being honest, hehe!  This is why I prefer shopping online and I have found one of the best websites to check out for … …..

Little Cosmetics–Pretend Makeup Review & Giveaway

IMG_3119_thumb.jpg

I’m definitely not a girly girl, but Alleigh and Kaelyn have seen me apply makeup on occasion… if the hubby and I are going on a date, for pictures, special occasions.  They do, however, see their Nana Rusnak and Aunt Courtney put on makeup all the time and so they developed a fascination with these little brushes and cosmetic cases full of pretty colors.  I was not about to purchase real makeup for my two and four year old to play with even if it was designed for their age level, but I am all about letting them pretend so … …..

Step2 Kitchen & Table Set Review and Giveaway

step21_thumb.png

I am a huge fan of Step2 products.  They are built to last and are sure to withstand multiple children playing with them no matter how rough and tough they are capable of being.  I know when I make a purchase from Step2 that my kiddos will get years of play and I will be a happy mom because my money was well spent.  I must say the play kitchens at Step2 are awesome.  They are incredibly lifelike, with real kitchen styling, intricate details, and contemporary extras, making Step2® Kitchens miniature versions of what mom and dad use! Dilly and … …..

Costumes4Less Review & Giveaway

Halloween is around the corner! Can you believe it??  Having little ones brings the magic back to this candy filled holiday and I absolutely love it.  I also love going to the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, hay rides, apple cider, but I know Dilly’s favorite part is the candy!  And to go trick-or-treating my girls have to have the cutest costumes ever – oh they also have to match, but you probably knew that if you’ve been reading long enough, hehe.  As much as I love seeing them dressed up in adorable costumes I hate the thought of dragging both … …..
