NoseFrida the Snotsucker–It’s Disgustingly Awesome! Review & Giveaway

NoseFrida the Snotsucker Review

We’ve had a bit of a rough ride with Willow during her first year so far.  She had RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) as well as a few colds here and there.  This has equaled out to lots and lots of snot.  Trying to feed my snotty stuffy baby was not the easiest thing – especially since I breastfeed and her little face would be up against the breast.  Nursing sessions would take forever since she had to keep unlatching to breath. I needed to get this snot out.  With Alleigh and Kaelyn I always used the blue bulb syringe that … …..

Walker Meets High Chair with the Joovy Spoon

Joovy Spoon Review

We live in a little bungalow.  I love our cozy little house and honestly don’t have a desire for anything bigger, but this also means that it’s important for items to serve multiple functions.  For example our coffee table has storage space inside where we keep blankets.  I needed to take this same approach with baby gear.  If you have a little one then you know how much space all their gear can take up.  I was excited to see that Joovy brilliantly combined a walker and high chair into one aesthetically pleasing product – the Spoon. The Spoon is … …..

Gymboree is THE place to shop for Adorable High Quality Kids Clothing {$75 Gift Card Giveaway}

IMG_0912.jpg

I absolutely love shopping for my girls and one of my favorite stores to visit is Gymboree.  I’m lucky enough to have a Gymboree about ten minutes from my house – though my checkbook may not agree, hehe.  There are so many things that I love about this company and that set them apart from the rest.   Their fashionable clothing and accessories are created to celebrate kids being kids in unique head-to-toe looks.  Isn’t that awesome?  Kids being kids.  So many companies have tried to turn our little girls into miniature women with short shorts and itsy bitsy bikinis, but … …..

Playground Essentials from Pish Posh Baby… Plus a $50 Gift Card Giveaway

PPB_thumb.jpg

I am so happy that the warm weather and sunshine finally seems to be here to stay.  That means we’ll be spending a lot more time outdoors and visiting our local parks pretty frequently.  Alleigh and Kaelyn absolutely love playing on the playgrounds, but since Willow is only beginning to be mobile the only activity she can participate in is swinging.  And so I needed a place to hang out with my littlest while we watch the big girls run around and burn off all their energy, hehe.  I found just what I needed at Pish Posh Baby plus quite … …..

We’re Summer Ready with the Bummis Sun Line {Review & Giveaway}

IMG_9867.jpg

On days like today in Ohio it’s hard to believe that summer will ever get here… it’s the end of April and we had snow flurries!  But I know that in a little over a month it will be pool weather and we’ll be spending tons of time outside.  My big girls love the pool as much as their momma and the last time we visited an indoor pool Willow seemed to love it as well.  Being outdoors means making sun safety a priority which is why I was so excited to see that the maker of one of my … …..

Mamas & Papas Baby Snug is Willow’s Favorite Seat in the House! And a giveaway too!

snug1_thumb.jpg

Willow is doing really good sitting up unassisted, but many times she tries to grab something that is out of her reach and ends up toppling over.  If I’m sitting by her this isn’t a problem because I can catch her, but sometimes she wants to sit up while I am doing other things like cleaning the kitchen or working on a blog post… these things don’t just write themselves.  I remembered seeing a really awesome infant positioner on the Mamas & Papas website when I featured the MAGIC Astro Bouncer here on the blog and was very excited to … …..

Quinny Zapp Xtra: Full Feature & Compact Fold

IMG_9608

When it comes to baby gear there are only a few things to me that are absolute necessities.  One of those things is a stroller.  I love baby wearing, but sometimes a stroller is the only thing that’s gonna work.  For instance today when I tried on about two hundred dresses for Easter Sunday… that’s only a slight exaggeration…. or when it’s just too stinkin hot outside to baby wear.  Now when it comes to strollers I have a lot of requirements that need to be met or else the stroller will end up collecting dust in the garage.  I’m … …..

Tiny Love Gymini Bouncer Review & Giveaway

IMG_9737_thumb.jpg

If you take a look around my house practically every room has something from Tiny Love in it. Willow’s nursery has a My Nature Pals Mobile attached to the crib and a Take Along Mobile hanging over the changing table.  The 3-in-1 Rocker Napper’s permanent residence is in the kitchen where Willow hangs out when I am cooking or cleaning.  One of my absolute favorite items is the Super Mat which travels around the house and even to the bowling alley with us on Monday nights.  Willow loves all of these items and I love that they keep her entertained … …..

Pink Lining – #1 UK Diaper Bags Debut in the US! Poppins Bag Review & Giveaway

PinkLiningPoppinsBag.jpg

I love diaper bags.  Dustin might call it an addiction.  But I seriously can’t get enough of them.  It’s basically a purse for a mom and that means different colors, sizes, and shapes are necessary for different situations.  Would you carry a sparkly clutch to the super market?  Most likely not.  It’s basically the same concept for diaper bags – hence the reason I need so many, hehe.  That’s also the reason I will never pass up the opportunity to feature a diaper bag here at Happenings of the Harper Household.  And so when I was approached by Pink Lining … …..

BabyBjörn Travel Crib Light 2 Review & Giveaway

BabyBjorn Travel Crib Light 2

Recently we have gone on a few over night trips.  Now anyone with a baby knows that even when you are just going away for one evening it seems that you have to pack everything in the entire house just short of the kitchen sink.  Many times hotels provide travel size cribs which would mean one less thing to pack, but I’m just not comfortable utilizing that service and prefer to bring something from home for my little one.  For the longest time I would lug our 30+ pound pack n play with us.  Yes, I know they are made … …..
