Join Walmart & Pampers in Donating to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals {Plus $25 Walmart Gift Card Giveaway}

Thank you to P&G for sponsoring todays post. While most days my job as nurse brings out lots of happy and life affirming moments, there are unfortunate times when I see children that are sick, hurting, and very unwell. What’s very interesting to me is that 1 in 10 sick children are treated in a network of hospitals that are part of the Children’s Miracle Network. In fact, one of my own children has been treated at CMN hospitals a few hours from us, and they have made a huge impact in our life! Every day, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals … …..

Monitor What Matters Most with a Motorola Video Baby Monitor {Plus Wi-Fi Internet Viewing}

Now that summer is here we are spending a lot more time outside.  Lilah has been enjoying rolling in the grass and feeling the water in the kiddie pool with her toes.  However, she also still needs to be inside quite a bit like when she is napping or when the mosquitos start biting.  I prefer to have my eyes on my little ones at all times and so a video baby monitor was a necessity.  Just as luck would have it Motorola recently launched two new digital video baby monitors and asked if I would like to try one … …..

Strolling with the Urbini Emi Travel System Available Exclusively at Walmart

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Urbini. I received an Urbini stroller to facilitate my review as well as thank me for my participation. As a mom of four who has tested out many different pieces of baby gear it has gotten rather hard to impress me.  I admit to being a bit of a stroller snob, hehe.  And so when a box from Urbini arrived on our doorstep I was a bit skeptical if the Emi Travel System would live up to my expectations.  Of course a new stroller can never stay in … …..

Happy & Hungry Fun with Eric Carle Booster Seat

Books have always been a big part of my life since I was a little girl, and now as a mom, I really want to continue my love of books with my boys. I especially love children’s classics, and the boys’ bookshelves are full of them. One of their favorite authors has always been Eric Carle, with his simple and interactive sensory books (Aiden would repeat The Very Busy Spider when he could just barely talk!). So when I was able to try out Creative Baby’s Eric Carle Happy & Hungry Booster Seat based on The Very Hungry Caterpillar, I … …..

Make Sure Your Little Ones are Safe&Sound with VTech

This post is brought to you by VTech and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own. I remember way back to when we were first registering for our baby shower, and the decisions we had to make about so many items… like what kind of diapers, cups, clothing, or even bedroom décor we were going to use in the new baby’s room. Some were harder than others, especially with bigger items that would last longer- like breast pumps, cribs, swings, and especially a baby monitor. I wanted one that would work really well through multiple rooms and maybe even outside … …..

Celebrating Babies Firsts with Pampers Swaddlers {Giveaway}

Though all four of my girls made very different entrances into this world some things remained very consistent.  One of those being that each of their tiny newborn bums were diapered with Pampers Swaddlers.  In fact Pampers Swaddlers are the #1 choice of hospitals in North America and the first diaper worn by millions of babies.  When using Pampers Swaddlers I can rest assured that my baby is wrapped in superior comfort, protection and blanket-like softness with up to 12 hours of overnight protection.  I especially love the color changing wetness indicator that signals when baby may need to be … …..

Stopping Eczema Before it Starts with #AveenoEczemaTherapy

I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for #AveenoEczemaTherapy. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating. Although I’m sad to see summer go, I really love lots of things that winter brings with it. There’s something magical about snow on the ground, Christmas lights everywhere, hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream, and all of the family and love of the season. Something that’s not so magical about the colder months, however, is a skin condition we battle every cold season with the boys- eczema. I was surprised … …..

Bath Time Just Got Easier with Baby Mantra

I participated in Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Baby Mantra. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating. All three of my girls have sensitive skin, but that sensitivity really seems to be amplified in their first year of life.  They never reacted well to the  vast majority of well known baby shampoos and lotions which would leave their their delicate newborn skin rough and dry.  I remember Alleigh having super rough patches behind her ears and Kaelyn having them in the creases of her elbows.  It … …..

Be So Cool for Back to School with new SoCozy #SoCozyBTS

Back-to-school time is always a busy and exciting month, and now that Aiden is in his second year of preschool, he’s really looking forward to all of the fun he’s going to have this year. He landed a really fun teacher this year and even has a few familiar faces in his class that he knows from last year. Plus, he knows that back-to-school time now means new supplies and clothes too, but any new back-to-school outfit wouldn’t be complete without a fantastic hairstyle to go with it! That’s why I was so excited to bring to you SoCozy– a … …..

Introducing the Joovy Too Qool – The Qoolest Double Stroller

When people realize my kiddos all have two year age gaps between them I get all sorts of crazy comments, but I absolutely love the spacing we have chose.  Just a few reasons include they have built-in playmates that they get along with the majority of the time and clothing can be passed down before it goes out of style.  Then there are other things that sometimes can be a little tough with them all so close together in age.  For example taking them all out in public by myself for activities like going to the zoo or even a … …..
