I participated in this program on behalf of Carter’s and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own. Some days I feel like winter is never going to end. It’s so bitter cold outside here in Ohio and we are all going a bit stir crazy – especially the kiddos who really need to get outside and burn off some energy. Even though spring seems like a far off fairy tale land I know it will be here before we know it. And when that time comes I will be more than ready to switch out the jeans, sweaters, and boots … …..
I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OshKosh B’gosh. I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip and to thank me for participating. I know I sound like a broken record, but gosh I really just can’t stand these freezing temperatures. I am so ready for spring time to get here and even though it’s a ways off for us in Ohio I needed to do something to remind myself that winter will not last forever even if it seems like it at the moment. And so Willow, my sister, and I … …..
It’s official. The Christmas shopping madness is in full swing. I’m sure at this exact moment many of you are out with all the crazies scoring some awesome deals. By the way “crazies” is said lovingly because this is my first Black Friday to not be out with the crowds in 14 years. And I’ll admit that at some point tomorrow I will probably head out to a couple stores. One of which will definitely be Carter’s because their deals are off the hook… I mean, hanger. hehe. When it comes to high quality adorable clothes for my kids I … …..
Babies don’t care what their clothing looks like, but they do care what it feels like. Don’t believe me? Well maybe they can’t tell you in actual words but their facial expressions and body language speaks loud and clear. My girls have never been happy in clothing with stiff collars – I will never understand who’s bright idea it was to put collars on baby pajamas. Oh and baby dresses with all the ruffles, lace, and itchy netted material that makes the dress look poofy – Easter is like torture for babies! And so I listen to my babies and … …..
“HALO Innovations became the standard for hospital nurseries and parents alike. In fact, 1,000 hospital nurseries use the HALO SleepSack Swaddle instead of blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative. That is 1.5 million births getting first-hand, in-hospital experience with the HALO SleepSack Swaddle and safe sleep practices! Modeling safe sleep practices for parents in the hospital is the key to safer sleep practices at home. HALO Innovations also offers free Safe Sleep Practices kits to childbirth educators to help further the cause of SIDS prevention.” Last month was SIDS Awareness Month, and I wrote a post about … …..
I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OshKosh B’gosh. I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip and to thank me for participating. Some of my favorite things to do include going clothing shopping for my girls and spending quality time with my family. A few days ago I got to do both. My mom, Willow and I took a little road trip to the Aurora Farms Premium Outlets where my sister works. I was able to spend time with my mom, have lunch with my sister, and shop for my girls. … …..
As a nurse that works with newborns, new mothers, and new families, one of my favorite parts of my job is teaching. My top 3 favorite teaching topics are: breastfeeding, skin-to-skin/bonding, and safe sleep. All 3 of those things are important in my own life, so I know that they’re going to be important to other new moms too. The third topic, safe sleep, is not only important to just me, however, but to my hospital as well. All infants in our hospital wear a HALO SleepSack Swaddle in effort to keep infants safe and to model a safe, blanket-free … …..
Today I am excited to share another amazing Hartville, Ohio business with my readers. This shop happens to be in Hartville’s Historic Downtown District nestled amongst a variety of retail stores including restaurants, salons, candy store, and lots more. I love everything about this part of Hartville. The buildings are all so ornate and each is different from the next. Even the lamp posts are gorgeous. It almost feels like stepping back in time. But what’s better than what Hartville’s Historic Downtown District looks like on the outside is what this particular shop holds on the inside. At this shop … …..
I absolutely love shopping for my girls and one of my favorite stores to visit is Gymboree. I’m lucky enough to have a Gymboree about ten minutes from my house – though my checkbook may not agree, hehe. There are so many things that I love about this company and that set them apart from the rest. Their fashionable clothing and accessories are created to celebrate kids being kids in unique head-to-toe looks. Isn’t that awesome? Kids being kids. So many companies have tried to turn our little girls into miniature women with short shorts and itsy bitsy bikinis, but … …..
On days like today in Ohio it’s hard to believe that summer will ever get here… it’s the end of April and we had snow flurries! But I know that in a little over a month it will be pool weather and we’ll be spending tons of time outside. My big girls love the pool as much as their momma and the last time we visited an indoor pool Willow seemed to love it as well. Being outdoors means making sun safety a priority which is why I was so excited to see that the maker of one of my … …..
