My little Lilah Rose is going to be celebrating her second birthday in just a few months and I suspect shortly after that we have the possibility of being a diaper free household. Well at least with my girls that is. Three to four days a week I have the pleasure of snuggling with my precious nephew while his mama and daddy are at work. He’s almost five months old which means I’ve got lots more diaper changes coming my way. One things for sure with the motherhood experience of four kiddos of my own I have definitely figured out … …..
I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for #AveenoEczemaTherapy. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating. Although I’m sad to see summer go, I really love lots of things that winter brings with it. There’s something magical about snow on the ground, Christmas lights everywhere, hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream, and all of the family and love of the season. Something that’s not so magical about the colder months, however, is a skin condition we battle every cold season with the boys- eczema. I was surprised … …..
I participated in Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Baby Mantra. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating. All three of my girls have sensitive skin, but that sensitivity really seems to be amplified in their first year of life. They never reacted well to the vast majority of well known baby shampoos and lotions which would leave their their delicate newborn skin rough and dry. I remember Alleigh having super rough patches behind her ears and Kaelyn having them in the creases of her elbows. It … …..
Back-to-school time is always a busy and exciting month, and now that Aiden is in his second year of preschool, he’s really looking forward to all of the fun he’s going to have this year. He landed a really fun teacher this year and even has a few familiar faces in his class that he knows from last year. Plus, he knows that back-to-school time now means new supplies and clothes too, but any new back-to-school outfit wouldn’t be complete without a fantastic hairstyle to go with it! That’s why I was so excited to bring to you SoCozy– a … …..
I participated in this event on behalf of Wendy’s Bloggers for Fischer Pharmaceuticals Ltd. I received Dr. Fischer products to facilitate my review. Do you have issues with dry, itchy skin? Do you or someone you know need a great eye makeup remover wipe or maybe just need to clean off some eye secretions? Well, if you answered yes to any of the above then the following company may just be the answer to your needs. Dr.Fischer, Inc. was founded by Dr. Eli Fischer. He earned his master’s degree cum laude from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Following that he … …..
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Banana Boat. I received product samples and promotional item as a thank you for participating. If the weather is nice enough to be outside that is where you will find us. I love getting my kids out and being active. Even though I love being out in the sun I also realize that we need to be very cautious about exposing our skin to those powerful rays. Regardless of our outdoor activity I am always sure to have plenty of Banana Boat sunscreen lotion on hand because it … …..
Hopefully this seems like common sense, but as parents we need to not only be concerned with what our children are eating, but also what we are putting on their skin. There are so many unnecessary chemicals in products designed to be put on our skin – it truly makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it. For example, in a scientific study of ten children’s face paints all ten were found to contain lead. Lead! Really? Why?! And so here is a list of ingredients you should avoid if at all possible: – Parabens (Ethyl-, Methyl-, Propyl-) … …..
The first product that pops into most people’s minds when they hear aden + anais is their amazing muslin swaddles. And I must say they are definitely a favorite item in our home because Willow must be swaddled in one to sleep. In fact she has been swaddled in them from the day she was born because I was sure to put them in our hospital bag. And now she even likes just holding on to them when she’s awake and who can blame her because their sooo unbelievably soft and only get softer with each wash. But today I … …..
After Sugar was born I found the blogging world and I was slowly introduced to ways that I could take baby steps for our family to live a more natural life style. In fact that is how we got started using cloth diapers! I guess for some people switching from disposable diapers to cloth may feel like more of a leap than a baby step, but for us it was such an easy smooth transition. But today I wanted to tell you about some great products that will help you live a more natural life style and it truly will … …..
Ever since the adverse reaction Dilly had to some OTC cold medicine I have become increasingly interested in natural remedies. That’s what makes IntelliCeuticals a great match for me – all of their products are healthy and natural remedies that help mom and baby feel their best. They have two product lines: before baby & after baby. We received two of the products in the after baby line to try out. I was quite excited to try out the Clearaway Cradle Cream. Sugar has had some wicked cradle cap since she was born, but with that thick long hair it … …..
