Peppa Pig Toys Launch at Toys “R” Us!

Kaelyn absolutely loves the television show Peppa Pig.  Never heard of her?  Well then you must be living under a muddy puddle, hehe!  Peppa lives in the United Kingdom with Mommy Pig, Daddy Pig, and her brother George who all speak in charming British accents.  The Peppa Pig show takes little munchkins on many adventures with Peppa, her family, and friends then always ends with loud snorts of laughter that make them all fall down – Kaelyn especially loves this part! Geared for Imagination: Woodours Review & Giveaway

With soon to be three girls in our home we have gone through tons of toys, but I am always on the look out for new toys to intrigue the girls – especially ones that will spark their imagination without the use of batteries or being plugged into the wall.  I was so excited when I stumbled upon Geared for Imagination which is an Ohio based creator and distributor of high quality toys.  In fact they are located about a half hour from me which I thought was pretty awesome!  Geared for Imagination was founded in 2009 by two dads … …..

I absolutely love personalized gifts.  And since I chose to give my girls names that are rather hard… more like impossible… to find pre-made, personalized gifts are the only way I can get items with their names on them.  In case you are wondering their names are really not Dilly, Sugar, and Baby Girl, hehe.  And so when I found “I See Me! Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

This morning I had a moment that made me go “hmmmmmm??”.  My neighbor across the street recently had shoulder surgery and asked if I could drive her oldest daughter to middle school each morning which I had no problem with, so for the past two weeks I have been driving her to school and having little bits of chit chat.  Today she hops in the car and has a book in her hand that immediately caught my attention…. yes the one on the right. “I Sleep In My Own Bed” Book Review & Giveaway

We have been very blessed with two little girls that have given us very little issue with sleeping in their own beds.  Dilly co-slept with us to about 10 months and then transitioned to a crib in her room and finally to a toddler bed at 18 months.  Sugar slept in a co-sleeper til she could roll over and then moved to a crib in our bedroom.  At approximately 11 months she moved into a crib in her own bedroom.  And recently with moving the girls upstairs they have begun sharing a room.  I was a bit concerned that we … …..

Compost Stew Review & Giveaway

Mama’s Milk Review & Giveaway

A couple weeks ago I stopped by the local breast feeding center to pick up some fluffy presents for my friend who writes at “Anderson’s Angels” baby shower.  I ended up getting her a super cute polka dot FuzziBunz diaper and a Planet Wise pail liner.  While there I also decided to nurse Sugar since they have a super accurate scale.  While nursing her I glanced over and saw an assortment of children’s books to keep older munchkins occupied while mom feeds their siblings.  On the top of the pile was a book entitled Mama’s Milk and I immediately picked … …..

Little Green Books Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

One thing I want to pass on to my kids is my love of reading.  Most of my adult level reading gets done on the kindle app on my droid in the wee hours of the morning nursing Sugar – it’s the only way I can stay awake, but I absolutely love reading books to Dilly and Sugar.  A quick tip to build your little one’s library:  On the invitation to the baby shower/1st Birthday ask guests to sign a book instead of a card!  Dilly’s library grew so quick by doing this and when reading her books we can … …..
