Back in February the big girls had “spring” pictures taken at school. I do love when my girls bring home their fall school pictures which are a more traditional face shot with the school year in the bottom corner. I always purchase these to document how they grow each year regardless of the goofy smile or messed up hair, hehe. But these spring pictures didn’t impress me especially with the outrageous price tag attached to them. And so I sent them back because I knew I could take all of my girls to Portrait Innovations where I knew I would … …..
A few months ago I wrote a blog post about an amazing clothing company – prAna. When I wrote that post it was the first time I had ever heard about this company and I absolutely fell in love with the pieces I had received. I had mentioned that I didn’t think the jeans I received would spend much time in my dresser drawer because I would want to constantly be wearing them and that was definitely the truth. I know I wear my Kara Jeans at least twice a week and they still look brand spanking new. And so … …..
I love exploring nature. Hiking and experiencing our earth’s beauty is one of my most favorite activities. As a mom of four I don’t have the opportunity to do that as much as I would like, but even so my everyday life with four girls is definitely an adventure. Whether I’m hiking along a cliff’s edge or chasing my toddler across the playground one thing is certain – I want to dress for comfort, but still look stylish while doing so. Christmas will be here before we know it and I admit that I have been starting to panic a bit. I have literally only purchased 3 gifts so far and don’t have a clue what my two oldest daughters are hoping Santa brings. Even though I really want to decorate the house I am secretly cringing a bit inside because this year there is a two year old roaming the house – not to mention the cat. But there is one thing that I have officially checked off my holiday to-do list thanks to Portrait Innovations. Just last week I … …..
This shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. Alleigh and Kaelyn have both been back to school now for two weeks. Of course rather than things feeling like they are slowing down and falling into a normal routine life seems busier than ever. It seems there is constantly a blog deadline I am racing to meet. Papers to fill out in the girls folders. Lunches to pack. Swim lessons will be starting again soon. The girls and I have been asked to be in my cousin’s wedding at the end of October. … …..
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. I am always looking for new and fun activities to enjoy during the summer, but costs can start to add up quickly! Saving money whenever and wherever I can is important, especially during the summer months. Even the cost of our groceries seems to sky rocket in the summer time since all of the kiddos are home all day every day. It’s truly amazing how much food one little 6 year old girl can consume in a day. Now when it comes to … …..
