Thank you to The J.M. Smucker Company for sponsoring today’s post. Not too long ago I shared my shopping trip to Walmart where I stocked up on all sorts of Jif and Smucker’s deliciousness. And today I am excited to share all about our end of summer farewell where we devoured it all, hehe. In Ohio Labor Day marks the end of summer… and much to my children’s dismay the last day to enjoy public swimming pools before they close for the year. Luckily the weather was gorgeous today – hot and sunny with just a few clouds floating by … …..
Thank you to The J.M. Smucker Company for sponsoring today’s post. We’ve had some super dry and hot days in Ohio lately so I thought the perfect way to say farewell to summer would be to enjoy just one more day at the pool. Taking four little ones to a public swimming pool is no easy task and I have learned it is best to come prepared. It’s even better to be over prepared when it comes to snacks. Other wise every time the kiddos have to get out of the pool for the ten minute break each hour they … …..
In just over two weeks our family will be packing up the car and heading to the beach. To reach our destination there is roughly ten hours of drive time, but add in all the necessary stops with four little ones and it’s easy to tack on another four hours or so. To make things a tad easier on us we plan to stay over night in a hotel a little over halfway there, but we still need to keep the kiddos occupied and happy in the car. Mama Harper won’t do good with hearing “are we there yet” a … …..
I admit I’m a bit of a tv junkie. It’s how I unwind after being mom all day. After cleaning the house, feeding the family, changing countless diapers, folding never ending piles of laundry, settling disputes over toys, enduring way too many cartoons, and the list goes on… I totally deserve that time after the kiddos are tucked in bed to unwind. I much prefer to watch a comedy over anything else and one that I can personally relate to is even better. Especially one that makes me think “well it could always be worse,” hehe. Tossing in some adult … …..

All opinions are mine alone. #ShareMemories #CollectiveBias It’s hard to believe we’ve been homeowners for the nearly eight years. We have an adorable little bungalow that’s a smidge too small for our six person family, but it’s cozy and the location is perfect. I’ve always wanted to utilize our backyard more, but it has always been a hassle to try to keep the kiddos back there and the lack of privacy was a bit frustrating. And so this year I decided it was time to take the plunge, … …..
My family and I have recently started educating ourselves about the types of foods that we have been eating and how they affect our bodies. More recently, we’ve started a process of slowly eliminating a few things from our diets, especially gluten. We’ve looked into the Paleo lifestyle and all of the benefits, and our interest has been piqued. While I’m slowly learning substitutes and alternatives to grains and gluten, I still have a lot to learn about Paleo cooking. In fact, my biggest hurdle is just trying to figure out what in the world to cook, especially when it … …..

All opinions are mine alone. #KidsChoiceDrink #CollectiveBias One of the great things about having kids… especially as they get a little older… is that you can watch Nickelodeon guilt free. I have no problem admitting that some of my favorite shows are on a “kids” channel – I may have even shed some tears while watching the series finale of iCarly. Now my girls and I have become rather fond of Jessie, Austin & Ally and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn. Oh and I can’t forget Dog with … …..
Thank you to HoneyBaked Ham for sponsoring today’s post. Easter is early this year – April 5th to be exact. And while I don’t get too excited about the cooking part of the holidays I do really enjoy the decorating and entertaining part. Today I am going to share how you can make your dining room table look very classy and like you slaved away in the kitchen for hours. All you have to do is follow Mama Harper’s tips and and bask in the compliments, hehe. Tip #1: Presentation. If your serving dishes and plates are all haphazardly mismatched … …..

All opinions are mine alone. #EasyBracketParty #CollectiveBias This week the temperature reached 50° and I’m beginning to believe that spring might actually be on the way. The girls loved riding their bikes up and down the street and the older neighborhood kids could be found shooting hoops at the end of the block. As I watched them play I began to sense a little madness in the air. No matter what part of the country you’re in I bet you felt it too. And with that madness comes … …..
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Dunkin’ Brands. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. It feels like so long since I’ve had a moment to sit down and write. Life has been crazy around here with my oldest daughter having a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, my four year old having an adenoidectomy and ear tubes surgery, and the baby being diagnosed with RSV. With so much chaos happening I’ve found it super important to carve out a few minutes of solitude to simply regroup so I am ready to tackle … …..
