Time for another installment of DIY Topsy Turvy Tomato Planter Update! I am seriously amazed at how well our gallon milk jug planters are doing. In fact we are starting to get little tomatoes on one of the plants. Not to long and Dilly will be able to go pick “moties” in her own back yard – she is so excited for them to turn her favorite color – red! Today we had the family over and grilled out. I went down to see how the burgers were coming along on the grill and noticed that Dilly’s DIY Topsy Turvy Tomato Plants were really taking off. And so I decided to share with you how they are doing….. and so here are the first planted and current pictures. Dilly and I love tomatoes or “moties” as she calls them, hehe. Two years ago I attempted a garden and well let’s just say that I am not the gardening type. Pulling weeds does not appeal to me and pretty soon my garden was a garden of weeds.
