Oral Care for Kids Tips

Oral Care for Kids

There are 6 mouths in our family….. well 6 human mouths.  Five of those I am responsible for keeping sparkly clean and cavity free. I’m pretty sure the husband can fend for himself, hehe.  With four girls sometimes it’s a struggle to make it through the day let alone make sure everyone has brushed their teeth.  Did I even eat breakfast today?  Thankfully my two oldest daughters are now old enough to take care of their oral hygiene themselves, but it does take some reminding.  We’ve also discovered a few products that make the whole process a bit easier so … …..

Striving for Mind-Body Balance with Nature Made®

nature-made-gummies-for-her-in-hand

This post was sponsored by Nature Made® as a part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. In the past year I have made some huge lifestyle changes.  I have drastically changed how I eat.  I’ve cut out all soda, tea, coffee, juice and only drink loads of water and a small glass of milk each day.  I have increased my exercise.  I have worked with my doctor to adjust my anxiety and depression prescription medications.  I have definitely seen vast changes in both my body and mind.  But one thing that I have wanted to start, but just hadn’t pushed … …..

Freshen Up with Summer’s Eve {Giveaway}

SummersEveCleansingCloths

Life has been rather crazy around the Harper household.  We just got back from our family vacation to Destin, Florida.  Alleigh and Kaelyn had their first day back to school.  And soccer season started again.  I’ve been running here and there and everywhere while working up a sweat in this hot humid weather.  And I’m not just talking about my pits.  Before I go any further I’m just going to throw out a friendly public service announcement that this post is for the ladies.  And so if you don’t have a V then you might want to click over to … …..

Avoid the Oops with Walmart.com

Box opened

It’s amazing how much toilet paper our family of six goes through on a daily basis.  It seems at least once a day I hear one of my children calling from the bathroom that they need more toilet paper.  I head to the linen closet to grab them a fresh roll, but more times than I would care to admit I realize we are completely out.  I know why this happens.  I see the stock pile dwindling as I replace the rolls day after day.  I make a mental note that I need to buy more toilet paper the next … …..

Total Body Care Starts at Massage Envy

mes

This post was sponsored by Massage Envy as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. When is the last time you took a moment for yourself?  Chances are it might be so long ago that you don’t even remember when it was or what you did.  The last time I can recall taking a moment entirely for myself without any of my children present or my hubby was when I took a walk along the beach on vacation before anyone else woke up for the day.  That was over four months ago.  I’d say that I am well over … …..

I’m Confident & Dry with Always Discreet

Always Discreet Liners

A few weeks ago I shared that I will be participating in Mudderella – a 5-7 mile long course with 12-15 obstacles covered in mud.  I’m really looking forward to completing it with my team, The Darling Dirtballs, but I am rather concerned about one thing.  My bladder just isn’t as cooperative as it was about eight years ago {also known as life before children}.  Back then you would have thought my bladder was made of steel.  Long car trips? No problem!  A joke so funny it brought tears to my eyes?  No big deal!  But now the thought of … …..

Keeping My Family Totally Taken Care Of From Head to Toe

drivein1_thumb.jpg

Tonight we enjoyed a fun evening at the drive-in watching Inside Out with some close friends and their children.  Before the movie began Angela and I were taking pictures of the kids – documenting their night at the drive-in together.  Capturing all those pearly white smiles.  And it got me to thinking that during the summer our days are filled with fun activities and not much routine compared to the school year.  And while I love not being obligated to have everyone dressed and out the door by the crack of dawn in the morning some routines are still very … …..

Keep Your Family Totally Taken Care Of With Healthy Essentials from Walgreens this Summer

A few months ago I shared my experience taking the Listerine 21 Day Challenge.  I’m happy to report that the challenge did turn into a habit and I’m still swishing away.  I did choose to switch to Listerine Total Care Zero because it is alcohol free, but still contains six unique benefits in one bottle.  Swishing twice a day with Listerine Total Care Zero helps prevent cavities, restores enamel, strengthens teeth, kills bad breath germs, cleans the whole mouth, and freshens breath. I also decided it was time to expand my oldest daughter’s oral care habits to include rinsing with … …..

Alright ladies… do you dread sneezing or even avoid laughing because you might tinkle in your panties?  It’s nothing to be embarrassed about and further more it’s important to know that you are not alone.  In fact one in three women experience light bladder leakage (LBL) – those little leaks that can be triggered by everyday occurrences like coughing, sneezing, laughing, and exercise.  You might be wondering why we have to deal with LBL in the first place and unfortunately there is no single answer.  LBL can be caused by many different factors including physical changes from childbirth, pregnancy, hysterectomy … …..

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #NaturalGoodness #CollectiveBias Earth Day falls on April 22nd this year, but there’s no reason we can’t celebrate all month long.  In fact it is so important that we begin making every day Earth Day.  This is the only Earth we have and I want to do what I can to protect it for future generations.  For that reason our family has begun taking steps to live a greener lifestyle.  One of my favorite ways we have chosen to be a tad greener is … …..
