Thanks to HoneyBaked Ham for sponsoring todays post. I am so excited for Thanksgiving. My hubby was lucky enough to get the day off from work this year so we’ll get to spend lots of family time together while stuffing our bellies. And of course we’ll also be watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and football while perusing the Black Friday ads. And hopefully I’ll get to have a relaxing turkey induced nap! But do you know what I won’t be doing on Thanksgiving? I won’t be spending the day in the kitchen. I won’t be basting, mixing, stirring, and … …..
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for OshKosh B’gosh. I received an OshKosh B’gosh gift card to purchase product and to thank me for my participation. The holidays are upon us. Thanksgiving is only days away and Christmas Eve is exactly a month away – yup, I’m stressing just a bit, hehe! We’ve begun preparing for the holidays by beginning to decorate the house and having the girls photos taken with Santa. Of course when it comes to photos of my girls I want them all to coordinate with each other. I also want outfits … …..
This #ExtraGumMoments shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. Thanksgiving is definitely one of my favorite holidays. I love spending time with my loved ones and enjoying lots of yummy food. It’s also the perfect time to reflect on everyone and everything I am thankful for while encouraging my children to do the same. It’s amazing how much your outlook on life can change when you count your blessings instead of focusing on the negatives. And there are so many things to be thankful for, so many blessings that we just tend … …..
I’m counting down the days until November 15th. Curious why? Well because that is the day that if Baby Harper #4 hasn’t arrived by I will be decking our halls (walls, shelves, and mantle) with Christmas decor. I’m highly considering starting to dry orange slices as well as string popcorn and cranberries for the Christmas tree even sooner. It makes sense to me because once she’s here I’m not going to want to set her down to accomplish these tasks – so why not do it now? I’ve already started checking other holiday related tasks off my to do list … …..
This #TasteTheSeason shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. With Halloween celebrations almost over, we had our trick-or-treat yesterday afternoon, Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. And with that comes the fun, but also stressful time of gift giving. With a new bundle of joy joining our family in the next few weeks, just in time for the holidays, money will be even tighter than usual – especially if the hubby needs to take any extra time off work if things don’t go as planned. Something I have learned over … …..
I participated in this program on behalf of Energizer and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own. In just a few short weeks there will be ghosts, witches, and monsters going door to door in exchange for sweet treats. Well, in my case there will be two little cave girls along with their T-Rex dinosaur, hehe. Luckily, our trick-or-treat time happens to be in the afternoon so we don’t have to worry about the extra dangers darkness brings, but having three little ones ranging in age from two to six still presents its own safety challenges since the hubby and … …..
This #Treats4All shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. Have you begun preparing for Halloween? It’s not too far away! My girls have their Halloween costumes all picked out and are super excited to go trick-or-treating. We rarely have any kids stop by in our neighborhood so instead I focus on making cute Halloween treats for the girls to pass out to their friends at their class Halloween parties. It’s still hard to believe I have two kiddos in school with classrooms full of friends this year. Today while shopping at Walmart … …..
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Business2Blogger & HoneyBaked Ham. I received a gift certificate to facilitate my review. Regardless all opinions expressed are 100% honest and my own. With how long I’ve been wishing for spring to arrive you’d think I would be a little more prepared for what it brings… Easter! Yet I haven’t done a single thing to prepare. There is not one piece of holiday decor displayed in our home. The Easter bunny has yet to shop for baskets and all the goodies that go inside. We haven’t even colored Easter eggs yet! Not … …..
Aiden is pretty excited this year for his first ever Valentine’s Day party at school, and I’m lucky enough that they have invited moms and dads to come too! I was also really excited to get to do his first ever Valentines with him, but I wasn’t super impressed with the selection available in the stores. It seemed like everything boy themed is some sort of superhero or sports team that he hasn’t even heard of yet. So we decided to make our own. We took one of Aiden’s favorite phrases- “Let’s have a ball!”- and made a fun Valentine … …..
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and Alleigh is super excited for her kindergarten class party. I’ve been a bit stressed because I know there will be lots of red candy and sweets… which for me translates to lots of red40 which has been banned from our home. And so I wanted to make some Valentines with Alleigh that were free of the sweets, but still had a special treat. Of course we could have picked up some store bought cards, but what’s that fun in that? Instead mama whipped up some cute Valentine’s and I even made a free printable … …..
