Oak Furnitureland – 100% Solid Hardwood Furniture at Low Prices

Growing up my mom made it a point that we would eat dinner together every night as a family.  It was the perfect opportunity to share how our day had went and to simply enjoy each others company.  When Dustin and I purchased our first home we settled on a small bungalow and when I say small I truly mean it.  After Alleigh was born we basically outgrew it, but because of the real estate market are still living here after four children.  A few months ago we decided that our youngest was old enough to move upstairs with her … …..

DIY Wooden American Flag {Plus BLACK+DECKER DRILL & SAW GIVEAWAY}

Two words that definitely describe me are crafty and creative.  I love thinking up new ideas and seeing my thoughts become a reality.  My hubby on the other hand tends to roll his eyes when the wheels in my brain start turning because he knows I will be asking him to assist when it comes to using saws, drills, and other tools.  But recently I had the opportunity to try out the new BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* Lithium 2-Speed Drill and decided this project was going to be completed entirely on my own.  I envisioned an American Flag comprised of wood … …..

The Perfect Christmas Gift with GuruNanda Oils and Diffuser

A sample was provided for my review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. I love Christmas and giving gifts, but I always find that struggle of wanting to get really good gifts that someone will enjoy without ruining my budget.  Because when it’s all said and done, I definitely want to be able to pay my bills and not gain any debt while blessing others.  For me, gift exchanges and meaningful gifts on a smaller budget require thinking outside the box, and sometimes, a pleasant surprise find in the store.  Well this Christmas, there’s a very pleasant and … …..

Make Every Day Earth Day, Starting at the Bathroom Sink with Tom’s of Maine {Plus Mason Jar Storage Rack Tutorial}

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #NaturalGoodness #CollectiveBias Earth Day falls on April 22nd this year, but there’s no reason we can’t celebrate all month long.  In fact it is so important that we begin making every day Earth Day.  This is the only Earth we have and I want to do what I can to protect it for future generations.  For that reason our family has begun taking steps to live a greener lifestyle.  One of my favorite ways we have chosen to be a tad greener is … …..

5 Easter Entertaining Tips from Mama Harper

Thank you to HoneyBaked Ham for sponsoring today’s post. Easter is early this year – April 5th to be exact.  And while I don’t get too excited about the cooking part of the holidays I do really enjoy the decorating and entertaining part.  Today I am going to share how you can make your dining room table look very classy and like you slaved away in the kitchen for hours.  All you have to do is follow Mama Harper’s tips and and bask in the compliments, hehe. Tip #1:  Presentation.  If your serving dishes and plates are all haphazardly mismatched … …..

Ornaments with Love {Review & Giveaway}

I’m counting down the days until November 15th. Curious why?  Well because that is the day that if Baby Harper #4 hasn’t arrived by I will be decking our halls (walls, shelves, and mantle) with Christmas decor.  I’m highly considering starting to dry orange slices as well as string popcorn and cranberries for the Christmas tree even sooner.  It makes sense to me because once she’s here I’m not going to want to set her down to accomplish these tasks – so why not do it now?  I’ve already started checking other holiday related tasks off my to do list … …..

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Armstrong Residential Ceilings. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating. Check out Armstrong Residential Ceilings to see just what I mean.  They offer a wide selection of affordable, decorative ceiling styles that … …..

A Personalized Christmas from Ornaments with Love {Review & Giveaway}

One of my favorite things about Christmas time is all of our traditions both old and new.  Dustin and I take our girls to pick out a live Christmas tree just like our parents did with us each year growing up.  We use the same Christmas countdown calendar that I used growing up – an awesome garage sale score.  This year we started a 24 days of books count down where the girls get to open a wrapped book each night and then we read it before bed.  And every single year since Dustin and I have been married we … …..

Bring America’s National Parks Home with Air Wick!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Air Wick. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating. With a 10 month old and a three year old who has no interest in using the potty my nose catches whiffs of nastiness pretty often.  Add that to other things that stink like garbage and burnt food (not that I ever do that, hehe) and it is absolutely necessary to have something with a pleasant smell.  Heck, even if your house doesn’t have one nasty smell adding … …..
