It’s that time of year when everyone seems to be on a health kick. New year. New you. And while I think it is a wonderful idea to exercise more and make smart choices when it comes to food it’s also nice to indulge once in a while. But what if you didn’t have to feel guilty about those indulgences? What if you could dig into a pint of ice cream with zero guilt? Now you can with Breyers® delights. Breyers® delights tastes just like the Breyers you know and love except with half the calories, 20-40% less fat, and … …..
Almost half way through his second grade year, my oldest, Aiden, has definitely found his favorite subject- science. He’s also realized that he has a natural talent for sports and loves to play and watch them all. So this Christmas, we were really excited to find out about a unique STEM toy to put under the tree that involves everything he loves into one. We were able to try out one of the fantastic kits from Little Medical School– the My Little Sports Medicine Kit. Packaged in its unique box- a medical satchel- the My Little Sports Medicine Kit was … …..
December 25th is right around the corner and it’s time to start sending out Christmas cards. Have you had the chance to get holiday portraits taken of your family? Recently I took my girls to Portrait Innovations and was so pleased with the results that today I am going to share 10 reasons why you should choose Portrait Innovations for your next photo session. Location, Location, Location. There are over 100 Portrait Innovations studios located across the United States. There is bound to be a studio near you – in fact we have a couple in our area. No Sitting … …..
This Christmas, we’ve decided to really focus on STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and math) gifts rather than toys with lots of lights, sounds, and batteries. We’ve realized that almost all of the toys that our kids tend to play with over and over are STREAM toys anyway, and right now, some of their very favorites are building block and snap together sets. After building one thing, they pass it on to the next brother, combine some different sets, and create something completely different. It’s the perfect way to keep their minds and hands busy without the need for … …..
This post and giveaway is sponsored by Blendy Pens. However, all thoughts and opinions are 100% honest and completely my own. School is in full swing already, and it’s hard to believe, but I’m already gearing up for the holidays. I’ve been hiding and stashing little gifts for Christmas here and there, grabbing things of interest as I go. While some of my kids are hard to buy for, Reese, my second child, is probably one of the easiest. I know any gift will always be a big hit if it allows him to draw or use his creativity, which … …..
Messes are inevitable when you have four children between the ages of one and seven. And as much as I try really hard to avoid it, clutter is pretty much inevitable most of the time as well. We have tons of storage bins, boxes, and shelves, but I still find that clutter happens when all of those things are taken down to play. I mean, sure, playing legos sounds innocent enough… until I rudely realize at 6 am that they were never gathered back up and put away into those bins, and it’s currently lodged in the sole of my … …..
It feels like summer just began, but my girls will be heading back to school in less than a month. This year I will have a fourth grader, second grader, and pre-kindergarten student. All three are my little fashionistas and so they have already begun thinking about what their first day of school outfit will be and second day of school and third day of school… and well, you get the idea. When it comes to putting together a back to school wardrobe the most important piece is the perfect pair of jeans because you can mix and match them … …..
This post was sponsored by SwimWays as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. Summer is officially here and that means lots of time by the pool. My girls and I would be poolside from sun up to sun down if it was possible. But being near water throws in a whole new set of dangers that we don’t deal with on a regular basis. In fact drowning is the leading cause of unintentional injury death in the United States for children ages one to four years old. It … …..
At all times we have a rather large selection of cereal in our pantry cupboard. Every member of the Harper family loves cereal for breakfast, snacks, and sometimes even dinner. A few of my daughters favorite cereal is Post Cocoa Pebbles, so when I saw the new Post Cinnamon Pebbles I knew we were going to have to give it a try. I was curious if this new cereal would stay true to our old favorites – Cocoa Pebbles & Fruity Pebbles. As I opened the box that sweet cinnamon smell hit my nose and I couldn’t wait to give … …..
Spring is finally showing up here in Indiana and the weather has been awesome for a couple days now. My boys have had a blast playing outside after being cooped up all winter, so slowly and surely, the toys have all started to trickle outside as well. One of their favorite toys to play with not only inside, but now outside as well, has been the MiO Eating + 2 People set I reviewed a few months ago from the Manhattan Toy Company. Made as multiple modular sets, each one is made from wood, gender neutral, and really awesome for … …..
