I don’t know about you, but I tend to have a tough time getting going in the morning. The problem is my mornings don’t wait for me to wake up and get enough energy to take on the day. I have two kids to get ready for school. Four to five days a week my nephew is dropped off at about 8:30am so that I can babysit him while his parents are at work. Not to mention my two little ones who are always getting into some sort of mischief. Most recently I discovered nearly every surface of my bathroom … …..
This post is part of a sponsored campaign for Captain McFinn’s Swim & Play App. I received compensation for my participation, but my review and opinions are my own. I love helping my boys learn new skills, but especially love when I get to see them grasp new concepts outside of strictly education. For instance, Reese is currently learning life and social skills in his preschool class, like manners, hand washing, and preparing simple snacks. I love seeing him grow as a person, especially when that growth tends to lead into new friendships and relationships for him. It’s so fun … …..
We recently got a new tablet and though I always thought they weren’t necessary since we have smart phones, a lap top, and desktop I will admit my mind has been changed. I especially like bringing it outside while the kiddos play in the backyard to answer emails, edit pictures, and interact on social media. Of course my girls view the tablet as a new toy for them to play with and so I went on a search for some kid friendly apps that matched up with their interests and ages. My oldest daughter, Alleigh, just turned seven years old … …..
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Dunkin’ Brands. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. It feels like so long since I’ve had a moment to sit down and write. Life has been crazy around here with my oldest daughter having a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, my four year old having an adenoidectomy and ear tubes surgery, and the baby being diagnosed with RSV. With so much chaos happening I’ve found it super important to carve out a few minutes of solitude to simply regroup so I am ready to tackle … …..
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Softcard. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. If your wallet looks anything like mine it’s utter chaos. The vast majority of that chaos consists of cards – credit, debit, loyalty, and more. Every time I’m trying to complete a purchase I find myself fumbling through my wallet trying to locate my form of payment, loyalty card, and coupons. After all I want to save as much money as possible while getting rewarded for shopping too. But more often than not I get frustrated … …..
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Dunkin’ Brands. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. My mornings consist of rushing around getting my older two ready for school while simultaneously keeping the two year old out of mischief and tending to the newborn who almost always needs her diaper changed the moment I strap her into the car seat. Once I have everyone loaded in the car and begin the drive to drop them off that is when I realize my stomach is practically talking to me. With so much … …..
Story time has always been an integral part of daily routines with our boys, and now even more so since Aiden gets to bring home a new set of books each week from his preschool. But I’ve noticed more and more that Aiden has become interested in picking out books and looking at them on his own, trying to find letters and sounds that he recognizes. When I learned that American Story Channel was going to be coming out with a brand new app called Kazaz! that allows children to not only read, but also to interact and experience original … …..
I shopped savvy using Walmart Saving Catcher, as part of a sponsored post for Crowdtap #WMTSavingsCatcher. Saving money is a huge priority for me which is why I have been attempting to save as much money as possible when grocery shopping. When couponing really took off I tried my best at clipping as many as I could and organizing them in a binder. This way I could then look at ads and figure out the best place to use them. It seemed the only way to reach maximum savings was to shop at lots of different places. To buy milk … …..
We’re big Apple product fans in our house, and our boys definitely have a love for the iPad just as I do (I’m convinced that the iPad has some magical dust sprinkled on it that my kids crave!). Although they love watching movies and cartoons on the iPad, they also really like some of the games we have downloaded for them. On the other hand, I really like for them to have balance with electronic toys and get hands on time with cars, blocks, and other physical toys. So when I came across a new game for the iPad that … …..
Thanks to Pop Secret for sponsoring today’s discussion. As our family grows, we’ve learned to do lots of family activities on a budget that are fun for everyone. We’ve realized how each little person we’ve brought into our family can add up to a lot of extra spending. So, one of our favorite low cost family fun nights for us has quickly become staying in for movie night. It’s something that both mom and dad can enjoy along with all three of our boys. Plus, movie night is always made better when we get to compliment it with Pop Secret … …..
