This post was sponsored by The Motherhood and MiMedia. All opinions are my own. I have crazy amounts of digital media stored all over the place. External hard drives. Camera SD cards. Smart phones. Tablets. Discs. Jump Drives. Laptops. Everywhere. And so when I am looking for a specific photo it can take me hours to track it down. Not only that, but more times than I care to admit I have completely lost precious memories. For example a smart phone will not survive a swim in the porcelain throne. Or when my laptop flashed the screen of death and … …..
I love taking photos of my kids. I try to take as many as I can so that those fleeting moments can be captured forever, and looked back upon when they’re older. With my iPhone, I find that I do a great job at the photo taking and posting on social media to share with my family and friends. What I don’t do a great job with, however, is actually printing out the photos to keep for the future. Just the other day, I realized that I never printed of the boys’ school photos for our family, even though I … …..
A few months ago my smart phone bit the dust. I was super bummed and immediately headed to my carrier’s store. Once there I learned that they no longer do free or discounted upgrades. Instead there is a monthly fee which would end up costing me the retail value of the phone in the long run. My only other option would be to purchase the new phone I wanted out right and that just wasn’t in the budget. I was a bit frustrated to say the least and as a blogger, not to mention mom, I couldn’t be without a … …..
Thank you to Best Buy for sponsoring the following post. One of my favorite parts of being a blogger is taking pictures. I am always trying to improve my skills and add variety to the types of shots I can take. Well an awesome new product recently arrived at Best Buy that could take my photography and videos to a whole new level. I’d be able to capture shots from angles that would make you think I sprouted wings and took flight. I admit fairy wings would be awesome, but this is definitely the next best thing for a photographer. … …..
The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card. I know it’s been a little while since I’ve touched base here on the blog. Life has been rather chaotic with the school year winding down, my oldest daughter participating in swimming and soccer, organizing the building of a privacy fence around our backyard, and joining my parents on a family vacation. To say I’ve been busy is an understatement and I’m sure you’d agree with a glance at my Instagram feed. It seems like I am never home and so our desk top computer has … …..
I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Virgin Mobile. I received a sample device to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating. A few weeks ago Dustin and I were talking about the girls getting older and how we would tackle them wanting to talk to their friends on the phone. I had mentioned that when we were around their age and even for the majority of high school that the only phones in our homes were the house phones – many with a cord attached to the wall! And since everyone … …..
The chargers in our house definitely take some abuse on a daily basis. They go with us into the car, to work, get thrown into bags, moved around the house, and sometimes even end up as a jump rope for the boys. Nice is a company with a mission to bring premium products to market that delight, inspire, and are built on a foundation of empowering local community, reducing environmental impact, and sharing success.
