PROUD TO BE A:
One of the best things about living in Ohio is being close to Cedar Point, The Roller Coaster Capital of the World! I absolutely love roller coasters and was a tiny bit sad last year that I wasn’t able to ride any during the entire season including HalloWeekends in October. Of course it was for a very good reason – I was pregnant with my adorable Lilah Rose and I’d choose her over roller coasters any day. But, I admit, it was still a little bummed that I would never get to ride Mantis again. However, once I found out … …..
I always love visiting Cedar Point, but I love visiting even more during HalloWeekends. It could be because the cooler temperatures that autumn brings makes trekking around an amusement park much easier than those boiling hot summer days. It could also be that autumn is my favorite season – the colors and fall decorations make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Cedar Point takes the concept of fall decorations to a whole new level transforming into a wonderland of 800 pumpkins, 400 gourds, and 67,200 cornstalks. The GateKeeper itself makes a bold statement to those entering through the Cedar … …..
About a month ago I shared my experience flying GateKeeper at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio the day before the park opened to the public for the 2013 season. It was such an amazing roller coaster and I was so ready to get back to Cedar Point so I could ride it again. I was thrilled to have that opportunity during the Cedar Point Mommy Blogger event. I invited a close friend of mine, her fiancé, and their baby girl who is about a month younger than Willow to join us for the event. Now you might be thinking how … …..
I am a thrill seeker. Now you won’t find me sky diving or bungee jumping, but roller coasters – heck yes! I absolutely love roller coasters and am so lucky to have the roller coaster capital of the world, Cedar Point, just a little over an hour away in Sandusky, Ohio. Cedar Point is the home of sixteen roller coasters one of which is brand new this year. The last time Dustin and I visited the park during HalloWeekends we spent some time oooh-ing and ahhh-ing over the details of this new coaster on the signs displayed on the fence … …..
About two months ago I shared our visit to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio with all my awesome readers. Our family had a great time, but I will admit this mama was a tad miserable being hugely pregnant in the hot summer heat while waddling around the rollercoaster capital of the world watching everyone else enjoy the thrills. And so when we were invited back to experience HalloWeekends I was beyond excited because I would finally get to ride the coasters and enjoy all of the Halloween fun. But then I realized we would have Willow with us since she … …..
This past week I have written a few blog posts telling you about our families awesome time at Cedar Point and staying at the Hotel Breakers over night. You should totally make sure you read those posts to see what a great time we had and below you can find a little snippet about Cedar Point too. Cedar Point is known for a couple of things. It’s known as the roller coaster capital of the world. But some just refer to Cedar Point as the world’s best amusement park. Cedar Point is an amusement park that brings people together through … …..
Last Sunday our family had a blast checking out Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio as well as staying over night in one of their hotels. If you have never heard of Cedar Point before than you definitely don’t know what you’re missing. They are most commonly known as the roller coaster capital of the world with 16 coasters where you can go as fast as 120 mph and drop 80 degrees! But what most people don’t know is that Cedar Point offers so much more than roller coasters. They have tons of thrill rides, water rides, plus rides for the … …..
